Mehmet S�tk� Dogu was born in 1960. He is a lawyer, and he has a son and daughter. He started his martial art training at the age of thirteen. He holds 6th Dan level in Iwama-Ryu Aikido certification. He is also the only instructor in Turkey holding this level of bukiwaza certification. (Aiki ken, Aiki jo) He also holds 4th Dan level in Karate. He is a student of Morihiro Saito Sensei and his son Hitohiro Saito Sensei. He is the representative of Iwama-ryu aikido in Turkey. He was introduced to Saito Sensei by Daniel Toutain (6. Dan - Iwama ryu France). He stayed as uchideshi in Iwama Dojo and Iwama Ryu France Dojo many times. He frequently travels to Iwama and stayes as uchideshi.
